buns and plaits contempoary and elizabethan

So here I have gathered some images of contemporary and Elizabethan buns and plaits. Researching is really giving me inspirations to my final design, and the more I look the more I fall in love with "the virgin look" center parting and long hair down.

I just love the center partings it really has a contemporary feel to it even though its Elizabethan.

even though this hasn't got the typical padding ect, the center parting and bun at the back has again the elizabethan feel

i love this look, i like the way the plaits are not only framing the face but also creating that typical love heart look

although you cant see the whole head you can get a feel for the plaits, what makes it elizabethan is the plaits and red lips and what makes it contemporary is the heavy overdone eyes

you can clearly see the twist and plaits in this hair style that more then likely runs around a bun,
I really like thats it looks very minimal compared to that of the big heart shape hair typical of the time but still holds its own ground.
